Our Love Story

Our story began during the quiet days of COVID lockdown, when I met Jared through one of my close friends. What started with online games, laughter, and endless conversations slowly grew into a beautiful friendship.

In October 2022, we finally met in person at the cricket club, and from that moment, our connection only grew stronger. I returned to Cape Town in December 2022 and spent a month there before heading back to the UK. During that time, Jared and I grew closer than either of us expected and began to realise that our friendship was becoming something more.

Then, in May 2023, I surprised Jared by coming to Cape Town. We spent our days exploring, laughing, and creating unforgettable memories together. It was during this trip that Jared asked me to be his girlfriend. Before long, it was time for me to return to the UK, and our long-distance journey began.

It wasn’t always easy, but the distance taught us to treasure every visit, every phone call, and every moment we shared.

Then came 22 April 2025 — a day I will never forget. Jared proposed exactly the way I had always dreamed: on the beach in Sea Point, with a beautiful sunset behind us, and just the two of us. It was simple, intimate, and perfect.

From a friendship that began during lockdown to finding our forever, I’m so grateful for every chapter of our story.

Thank you for reading our love story. I can’t wait to celebrate this special day with you and see you at our wedding! ❤️

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. However, should you wish to bless us with a gift, a cash contribution towards our honeymoon would be greatly appreciated.

As we will be starting our married life abroad and won’t be living in South Africa, this would help us create beautiful memories together as we begin this new chapter.

Thank you so much for your love, generosity, and support. ❤️
